18 July 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0109 <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br /> ' r <br /> The proposed well borings for the ground water monitoring well cluster proposed in the area of well <br /> MW-8 will be advanced to approximately 80 feet bsg and 117 feet bsg The proposed well borings <br /> for the ground water monitoring well cluster proposed in the area of boring CPT-3 will be advanced <br /> to approximately 70 feet bsg, 80 feet bsg and 120 feet bsg Each-boring will be advanced utilizing <br /> a truck-mounted, hollow stem drill rig equipped with 8-inch diameter hollow-stem augers Total <br /> depths of borings may vary according to hydrogeologic/geologic conditions encountered during <br /> drilling Soil samples will be collected continuously beginning at 70 feet bsg and extending to the <br /> total depth of the deepest proposed boring in each well cluster <br /> 33 WELL COMPLETION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> Following installation,the wells will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the amount <br /> of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing After development,the top <br /> of the well casing(well head)will be surveyed to determine its elevation relative to mean sea level <br /> Procedures for well installation, and for development and survey are presented in Sections 4 2 and <br /> 4 3 , respectively <br /> • <br /> 3 4 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling of the newly installed ground water monitoring wells will <br /> be conducted on a quarterly basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring is <br /> approved by the CVRWQCB Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to <br /> ground water measurements and collection of ground water samples for laboratory analysis Ground <br /> water sample collection procedures are described in Section 4 4 <br /> Ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services- <br /> certified <br /> ervices- <br /> certifed laboratory for the following constituents . <br /> • TPH-g in accordance with EPA Methods 5030/8015M, <br /> • Benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and xylenes(BTEX)and methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE) <br /> in accordance with EPA method 8260B, <br /> • The fuel additives di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), MTBE, <br /> tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME), tertiary butanol (TBA), 1,2-dibromoethane(EDB)and <br /> 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) in accordance with EPA Method 8260B <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
