The temperature of the <br /> catalyst is recorded continuously. <br /> The temperature of the catalyst bed increases with the concentration of <br /> the influent. The unit is designed for a maximum -influent concentration S <br /> of about 3250 ppm or 25% of the Low Explosive Lisa'>t (LEI.) for gasp?ine. <br /> Specifications for the incinerator are presentedinAppendix C. <br /> x <br /> REGULATORY AUTHORIZATION AND PERMITTING <br /> Authorization to operate the incinerator is required from the San Joaquin <br /> Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District. EVAX Technologies <br /> submitted for the necessary air permits in June 1991. The application s, <br /> was deemed complete by the District in August 1991. The approved <br /> Authority to Construct was issued on 13 January 1992. <br /> Notification of the operation will also be issued to other local agencies <br /> k : including the San Joaquin County Public Health Services and the Fire <br /> Department. <br /> Pursuant to Section 280.67, Subpart F of 40 CFR of the Federal Register, <br /> the public must be notified of the proposed remedial actionplan.
