Analytical results for well UST-1 are shown on Table 2 - Analytical Results of Ground
Water Samples and on the enclosed laboratory certificates of analysis. Ground water from
UST-1 contained nondetectable concentrations of TPP as gasoline (Appendix ]B). IBTZEX
constituents were also reported with concentrations for benzene of 4 micrograms per liter
(µg/IL) or parts per billion(ppb), toluene of 3 ppb, and xylenes of 4 ppb. T H as diesel was
reported at a concentration of 11 milligrams per Liter or mg/L or parts per million.
Analysis of the trip blank accompanying the UST-1 sample reported nondetectable
concentrations of all analytes Laboratory analytical documents are included as Appendix
B.
I
3.4.1 Discussion
The ground water elevation calculated for well UST-1 has increased 0.4 feet relative to that
reported for July 1993. This increase is likely due to seasonal changes. Ground water flow
at the site is likely toward the actively pumping water supply wells, but the flow direction
and gradient cannot be verified with the existing network of monitoring wells at the site.
TPI[ as diesel, ethylbenzene, and xylenes were detectable in well DIST 1 at concentrations
lower than that reported for July 1993. TPH as gasoline remained nondetectable. Benzene
and toluene increased slightly relative to the July data, but are within the same magnitude
of concentrations as the previous quarter.
F\69254W\4QTRGWM RPT 6 EmmvonmenW Sconce&EA&mv-rw& Inc
