April 26, 1988 AGS Job No. 2005-P
Delta Truck Sales, Stockton, California
detergent (Alconox) and deionized water and rinsed at least twice
with deionized water prior to collecting each sample. The sample
shoe will also be steam cleaned prior to each sample.
Quality assurance/quality control concerns will be addressed with
duplicate and split samples. At least one duplicate soil sample
will be collected for each six samples. The submission of
duplicates will give an indication of variability of laboratory
results and naturally occurring concentrations of compounds in
j the soil. The duplicate samples will not be identified to the
laboratory. In our opinion, trip blanks are not desirable in
this soil sampling plan.
Background Concentrations in Soil
Naturally occurring background concentrations of analyzed
substances in soil at the site will be evaluated by collecting
samples from at least one additional excavation. The location of
this excavation will be a minimum of 50 feet from the limits of
the main excavation, and will be promptly backfilled after
sampling. Sampling methods will be identical to those used in
the impoundment excavation. A minimum of three samples and one
duplicate will be collected from soil units similar to those
11
1(.
Applied GeoSystvms
