c
April 26, 1988 AGS Job No. 2005-P
Delta Truck Sales, Stockton, California
using a Mobil B-61 (or equivalent) drilling rig equipped with
hollow-stem augers.
Earth materials encountered will be logged using samples
collected during drilling. Samples will be collected from the
base of the excavation to total depth of the boring using
continuous sampling equipment. Samples from each soil unit
encountered will be analyzed by the same methods as samples from
the excavation.
We anticipate that ground water occurs at a depth of 40 to 50
feet below grade at this facility, based on our experience with
nearby sites. The total depth of the boring will be
approximately 10 feet below the static ground-water surface at
the time of drilling. Should any consistent clay layer with a
minimum thickness of five feet be encountered below the water
table and above the proposed boring depth, the drilling will be
terminated and finished as a monitoring well immediately above
the clay. The well is to be constructed with 2-inch inner
diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) casing. The casing will
consist of factory-perforated casing with 0. 010-inch-wide slots
from bottom of the well to a point approximately 5 feet above the
14
AppIleal GeOSystems
