It will be finalized and a <br /> copy will be provided to all attendees for input. <br /> Overview of TRC function: <br /> The TRC is a community involvement activity. It is comprised of <br /> citizens who have shown interest in the cleanup process and who <br /> would be willing to disseminate the information provided from the <br /> meetings to the community. The San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services , Environmental Health Division (SJC/EHD) , stated they <br /> would attend the meetings to gain knowledge in the event there <br /> are public inquiries . <br /> General: There was general discussion on the border zone law. <br /> Individuals with property located within Tracy Facility's border <br /> zone, who are trying to redevelop their land and are having <br /> problems developing their land. DDRW has received interest from <br /> various developers and property owners. RWQCB asked if the <br /> interest is from other public entities located upgradient. DDRW <br /> stated yes they are. SJC/EHD said the border zone issues do not <br /> necessarily go through the County; the City of Tracy could also <br /> be responsible for border zone issues . DDRW stated the <br /> interested party was a resident whose property was near the Tracy <br /> Facility and is being annexed by the City of Tracy. This will <br /> occur within about two years . The Department of Toxic Substances <br /> Control said the restriction could be from the State also. DDRW <br /> said when someone wants to put in a private well they go through <br /> the County. The County would only handle those that put in <br /> wells . DDRW then asked does the County put on deed restrictions? <br /> DTSC said border zone determination by State DTSC determines any <br /> real estate restrictions or non-restriction and in some cases <br /> deed disclosure requirements . The SJC/EHD said they do not place <br /> deed restrictions. <br /> DDRW asked all attendees if they had any questions . DDRW <br /> encouraged all TRC members to ask questions and they would <br /> respond to them in writing if answer was not available at <br /> meeting. <br /> DDRW will provide TRC members with a copy of the DDRW acronym <br /> dictionary, TRC charter, and TRC meeting minutes . <br /> The next TRC meeting will be in late July 1993 . DDRW will <br /> solicit participation from the City of Tracy (Public Works and <br /> Planning Commission) , Assemblyman Dean Andal 's office, and the <br /> County Board of Supervisors at our next TRC meeting. <br /> 4 <br />
