PURCHASED MEAT ON FRIDAY AND IT <br /> SMELLED ROTTEN. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> Walk in cooler(carniceria)--38.00°F Display case(carniceria)--41.00°F <br /> NOTES <br /> Spoke with store manager who states having no knowledge of complaint. Informed me that any meat products left outside of <br /> refrigeration,whether in aisles or returns, are discarded and not sold to the public.Temperatures were taken of the display <br /> case,41 F, and the walk in cooler, 38F, where all the meat products are stored until placed in the display case. Manager of <br /> carniceria states that all meat products that arrive are checked before being stored away and anything that do not receive his <br /> approval is discarded in a bin.Any meat products that are returned are also discarded in the bin to ensure only meat products <br /> he approves of is sold to the public.
