0 • <br /> CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 94- <br /> SANTA FE PACIFIC PIPELINE PARTNERS, INC. <br /> HOLT PIPELINE LEAK <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Prior to construction, plans and specifications for ground water monitoring and/or extraction <br /> wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and approval. After construction, new <br /> wells are to be sampled and analyzed for the constituents below and added to the monitoring 12 <br /> program. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> There are 11 ground water monitoring wells and three ground water extraction wells as <br /> shown in Figure 1. Monitoring wells with free phase petroleum product or visible sheen <br /> shall be monitored for product thickness and depth to ground water only. Monitoring wells <br /> which have a free product thickness greater than 0.1 foot will be hand-bailed every other <br /> week until the free product thickness is less than 0.1 foot. The ground water monitoring <br /> program for the 11 monitoring wells, and any additional wells installed subsequently except <br /> for wells containing free phase petroleum product or visible sheen, shall include the (n1 <br /> following: - <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units LYS of Sa=le Frgquency <br /> Depth to ground Feet ---- Quarterly <br /> water <br /> Benzene µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Toluene µg/1 Grab Quarterly CT <br /> Ethvlbenzene 4 g/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Yvlene �:g!1 Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as diesel µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> PH as gasoline µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Total Lead' µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> ' From wells which have not been monitored for total lead. If total lead is detected, <br /> the Discharger shall perform verification sampling within 30 days of submittal of <br /> the monitoring report. If the presence of total lead is not confirmed, no further test <br /> is required. If pollution is verified, the Discharger shall continue monitoring for <br /> total lead quarterly. <br />
