CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 91-052 <br /> NPDES NO. 0082651 <br /> FOR <br /> UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA <br /> LAWRENCE LIVERMORE NATIONAL LABORATORY SITE 300 <br /> AND <br /> THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY <br /> ALAMEDA AND SAN JOAQUIN COUNTIES <br /> Specific sample station locations shall be established with concurrence of the <br /> Board staff, and a description of the stations shall be attached to this Order. <br /> INFLUENT AND EFFLUENT MONITORING <br /> Influent samples shall be collected at approximately the same time as effluent <br /> samples and shall be representative of the influent for the period sampled. <br /> Effluent samples shall be collected downstream from the last connection through <br /> which wastes can be admitted into the outfall and shall be representative of the <br /> volume and nature of the discharge. Samples shall be analyzed daily for the <br /> first seven days of operation, weekly for the following month, and twice monthly <br /> thereafter. If the system is shut down for greater than 24 hours, this sequence <br /> of sampling shall begin again on the first day of discharge following the shut <br /> down. Time of collection of grab samples shall be recorded. The following shall <br /> constitute the monitoring program: <br /> Type of <br /> Constituent Units Sample <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Grab <br /> Volatile Organic Compounds) ug/l Grab <br /> Flow gallons per day Cumulative <br /> 1 Samples shall be analyzed by EPA Methods 601 and 602. <br /> If the discharge is intermittent rather than continuous, then on the first day <br /> of each such intermittent discharge, the Discharger shall monitor and record data <br /> for all of the constituents listed above, after which the frequencies of analysis <br /> given in the schedule shall apply for the duration of each such intermittent <br /> discharge. In no event shall the Discharger be required to monitor and record <br /> data more often than twice the frequencies listed in the schedule. <br /> RECEIVING WATER MONITORING <br /> All receiving water samples shall be grab samples. Receiving water samples shall <br /> be taken from the following stations when Corral Hollow Creek carries water from <br /> sources other than the GWTS: <br />
