The following is a summary of the results. See Table 2 in the Appendix for <br /> additional details. <br /> ' Table 5.1.3b <br /> Composite Stockpile Sampling Results <br /> Petroleum Constituents <br /> ' Large Excavation C <br /> ' TPH-D (mg/kg) TPH-O (mg/kg) Xylenes (µg/kg) <br /> Stockpile (Composite) 4.3 to 9.7 19 to 23 5.8 <br /> ' In addition to the summary of analytes concentration ranges listed in Table 5.1.3b, 4 of 5 metals <br /> ' were also detected including chromium, lead, nickel and zinc. The concentration ranges for these <br /> metals are as follows: <br /> ' Chromium 30 to 41 mg/kg <br /> Lead 30 to 44 mg/kg <br /> Nickel 10 to 13 mg/kg <br /> ' Zinc 41 to 57 mg/kg <br /> ' Concentrations of oil and grease were not detected in the composite stockpile samples at or <br /> above laboratory reporting limits. <br /> 1 5.1.4 Temporary Well Boring Soil Sampling Results <br /> ' Four temporary wells (TW-1 through TW-4) were installed around the perimeter of LE-C at the <br /> locations shown of Plate 2. A total of four soil samples collected at depths beginning at 4 or 7 <br /> feet bgs were submitted for analyses. One soil sample from each well boring was submitted for <br /> the following analyses: <br /> ' • Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene,Total Xylenes by EPA Method 8020 [BTEX] <br /> • Total Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons [TPH-P] by EPA Method 8015M <br /> • Oil and Grease by APHA/EPA Methods <br /> • 5 LUFT metals (Pb,Ni, Cd, Cr and Zn)by EPA Methods <br /> ' • Five Oxygenates (ETBE, DH'E, MTBE, TAME and TBA),by EPA 8260A <br /> 20-4341-11.E01/201IR959 Page 21 of 31 <br /> Copyright 2001,Kleinfelder,Inc.
