CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. 94-815 <br /> LIBBEY-OWENS-FORD COMPANY <br /> WAREROOM AREA <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Prior to construction, plans and specifications for ground water monitoring and/or extraction <br /> wells shall be submitted to Board staff for review and approval. After construction, new <br /> wells are to be sampled and analyzed for the constituents below and added to the monitoring <br /> program. <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> Figure 1 is a location map. Figure 2 is a site map which shows the four ground water <br /> monitoring wells. Two wells are designated as MWs and the other two are designated as <br /> EWs. Monitoring wells with free phase petroleum product or visible sheen shall be <br /> monitored for product thickness and depth to ground water only. The ground water <br /> monitoring program for MWs 93-1 and 93-3, EWs 1 and 2, and any additional wells installed <br /> subsequently, except for wells containing free phase petroleum product or visible sheen, shall <br /> include the following: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Tyne of Sample Frequency <br /> Depth to ground Feet ---- Quarterly <br /> water <br /> TPH as diesel' µg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as hydraulic fluid' µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> TPH as kerosene' µg/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Semi-volatile Organic u g/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> Compounds' <br /> ' Report the hydrocarbon range. <br /> 2 Using U.S. EPA Method 625 <br /> REPORTING <br /> Quarterly reports shall be submitted to the Board by the 30th day of the month following the <br /> end of each calendar quarter until such time that the Executive Officer determines that the <br /> reports are no longer necessary. Each quarterly report shall include a ground water contour <br /> map, the status of any ongoing investigation or remediation, and in tabular form. the water <br /> quality data, depth to ground water, and free product thicknesses. <br />
