Domestic Wells <br /> o The well log for the domestic well located at 1600 Durham Ferry Road was obtained <br /> The well is 230 feet deep and is screened from 170 to 230 feet below ground surface <br /> The geology is alternating sand/gravel and clay layers ranging from approximately 10 to <br /> 20 feet thick This geology was not very consistent with that found in MW-8 or MW- <br /> 102, 65 and 115 feet away respectively <br /> o A well log was obtained for the domestic well located at 31448 Highway 33, the Muriel <br /> Jones Propoerty The well is 96 feet deep but the well log does not give information on <br /> perforation depth The geology is listed as being primarily alternating layers of gravel <br /> and clay <br /> o A well log was not obtained for the domestic well located at 1697 West Durham Ferry <br /> Rd GTI tried both the California Department of Water Resources and San Joaquin <br /> County However the property owner, Milton Birkhahn, claimed to be familiar with the <br /> well construction and told us that it was 100 feet deep and screened from 80 to 100 feet <br /> below ground surface <br /> ISee Appendix B, Boring Logs, Domestic Well Logs and Figure 3, Cross Section for More <br /> information A complete well survey report will be submitted upon completion of the <br /> survey Additional well drillers logs are being searched at DWR <br /> 3.4 Waste Disposal <br /> On July 26, 1997, eight 55 gallon drums of soil stored on plastic were transported to Forward <br /> Landfill in Stockton Manifest documents are included in Appendix E <br /> On July 17, 1997, fifteen 55 gallon drums of drilling decon water, well purge water and water <br /> and free product generated during bailing of MW-2 were transported to Advanced <br /> Environmental in Fontana, CA Manifest documents are included in Appendix E <br /> 4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND REC®1MIl+JN DA'll'20NS <br /> Based on our interpretation of the data collected over the course of this subsurface <br /> investigation we have reached several conclusions These conclusions are based on the <br /> premise that the data we considered, although incomplete, are representative of actual site <br /> conditions We acknowledge that there may be undiscovered conditions, which would upon <br /> their consideration, change our interpretation and thus our conclusions <br /> Our recommendations are based on our knowledge of site conditions and the state and <br /> limitations of subsurface investigative technology <br /> 4.1 Conclusions <br /> Geological Technics Inc , taking into consideration the data obtained during previous site <br /> investigation work and the April 29 & 30, 1997 soil and groundwater investigations, makes <br /> the following conclusions <br /> Subsurface lnvesti ag tion <br /> The following conclusions are made based on our professional interpretation of the field <br /> observations made during the completion of the soil borings, well installation, and soil and <br /> groundwater sample test data <br />
