This
will include periodic sampling of system influent/effluent for
specified analytes and continuous flora rate monitoring. The
analytical results of the influent/effluent sampling will be used to
assess system efficacy and to predict filter breakthroug'.
Routine operational monitoring will be conducted on at least a once
or twice weekly basis. This monitoring wO_1 include recording line
pressures, current and totalized flow, and power usage. Additionally,
lines, fittings and wellheads will be inspected and maintenance or
repair conducted as needed.
In addition to discharge and operational monitoring a quarterly
groundwater monitorinq program will hs maintained. This program will
include the recording of water table elevations for all wells on the
site and sampling for the following analytes:
-benzene, toluene, xylenes, ethylbenzene (EPA method 8020)
- -total gasolins hydrocarbons (EP) method 8015)
A report will be submitted quarterly to the County Environmental
Health Division and the Regional'. Water Qualit7 Control Hoard
summarizing all 'analytical and operational data. This report will
; include:
-status of remediation program
-any problems encountered or unusual operating conditions
--results of all water sample analyses
isoconcentration plots of cheatical analytes
-groundwater elevations plots (monthly)
-projected activities for the coming quarter
The quarterly report will be submitted on the tenth day of the month
following the end of the calendar quarter.
6.4 Site Closure
The pump anti,- treat system will be operated Until contaminant levels
drop below state mandated maximum contaminant levels (MCLS). When
these thresholds are reached system operation will continue for a
time while verification monitoring is performed. If concentrations
below action levels are verified, the system operation will be
discontinued, however, t?'ta groundwater monitoring program will
continue. If one year -of monitoring (4 events) continues to
demonstrate levels below-MCLs, closure will be requested. Site
closure would includes the decontamination and removal of all
---— -- ----- equipment-and--the abandonment-of all_wells_on
Veber Point Property - 475 l 2 - - - - - -
H20R"791.TLP _
