The water
rdischarged from the wells will be placed .in drums and left on
Isite to await disposal pending the results of the groundwater
analyses. Disposal of the water will be the responsibility of
SPI .
3.4 Groundwater Sampling
IAt least 24 hours following development, a Condor
representative will collect a groundwater sample from each
monitor well. Prior to sampling, the static water level in the
wells will be measured to the nearest 0 .01 foot with a standard
battery-operated flat-tape water level meter. A disposable
bailer will be lowered into the wells to check for floating
Iproduct, sheen, or petroleum odors. The wells will be purged
'+ with a submersible pump until the pH, electrical conductivity,
and temperature of the water have stabilized (at least 3 casing
volumes or approximately 30 gallons per well) . The purge water
will be discharged to drums on site to await disposal pending
Ilaboratory results . The well will be allowed to recover to at
least 80% of the pre-purge water level before sampling. The
1,
I 8 CONDOR
