The MDL for Benzene, <br /> Toluene and Ethylbcnzene is 0.005 ppm- The MDL for Xylenes <br /> is 0.015 ppm. <br /> All excavated soil was stockpiled on site. Figure 2 shows the <br /> location of Stockpiles A and B. Stockpile A consists of <br /> approximately 100-cUbic yards of "clean" soil, as determined by <br /> field methods, including Photo-Ionization Detection (PID) and <br /> lack of visual staining. Stockpile B consists of approximately <br /> 500-cubic yards of soil which contains some detected gasoline <br /> hydrocarbons. The soils were spread on top of a Polyethylene <br /> liner and were covered with a Polyethylene liner. <br /> On March 29,1990, twelve cOMPOsite samples were collected from <br /> the soil stockpiles for laboratory analyses.
