PRO8IEM ASSESSMENT REPORT <br /> 1606 South EI Dorado Street Stockton Caidorrua <br /> 1 2 Scoge <br /> The scope of work completed at the site included the following, performed according <br /> to the Aegis standard operating procedures (SOP) included in Appendix A <br /> • On May 3 through 5, 1993, seven soil borings (MW-4 through MW-7 and <br /> VEW-1 and VEW-2) were drilled, logged, and sampled to depths ranging <br /> from 15 to 60 feet below surface (bs) at the locations shown on <br /> Figure 2 <br /> • Based on the results of field observations and measurements using a <br /> photoionrzation detector (PID), representative soil samples were selected <br /> from the borings and submitted to a state-certified laboratory for <br /> analysis <br /> • Soil borings MW-4 through MW-7 were completed as 4-inch-diameter <br /> groundwater monitoring wells Soil borings VEW-1 and VEW-2 were <br /> completed as 4-inch-diameter vapor extraction wells <br /> • Soil cuttings from the borings were placed on and covered by plastic <br /> sheeting on site A two-to-one composite soil sample was collected from <br /> the stockpiled cuttings and submitted to a state-certified laboratory for <br /> analysis to characterize the material for disposal <br /> • Each monitoring well was developed and purged until a minimum of four <br /> well-casing volumes were removed Purge water was collected and <br /> stored on site in 55-gallon U S Department of Transportation (DOT)- <br /> approved drums <br /> • Groundwater levels and samples were collected from each well The <br /> samples were submitted to a state-certified laboratory for analysis <br /> • A survey of the top-of-casing elevation and location of each groundwater <br /> I monitoring well was completed under the direction of a professional <br /> surveyor and referenced to existing wells MW-1 through MW-3 <br /> I <br /> 91 044A PAR 2 <br />
