SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based upon soil and ground water data collected during advancement of soil borings, AGE
concludes
' • With the exception of a laterally discontinuous sand layer at 25 feet bsg, yellow brown and
orange brown, dry to moist clayey silt to sandy silt was the predominant soil type between
5 and 30 feet bsg in the soil borings Blue grey clayey to poorly-graded fine sand was
' identified at depths between 35 and 50 feet bsg, ground water was encountered in the blue-
gray sand at approximately 40 feet bsg
• TPH-g,MTBE,and BTEX compounds were detected at all four boring locations, the lateral
' and vertical extent of impacted soil and ground water has not been undefined
• The'highest concentrations of petroleum.-hydrocarbon compounds were detected in boring
' B-1, TPH-g was present at a maximum concentration of 21,000 mg/kg and BTEX
• compounds were present at a maximum concentration of 1,420 mg/kg (xylenes) The
maximum MTBE concentration in soil was detected in sample B4-35 at 5 6 mg/kg
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Ina
