Page 3
Soil Bonng Installation Work Plan
Cutter Lumber Site
3422 S El Dorado,Stockton
Project No 443 2
INovember 3, 1995
On behalf of the Bank of Stockton, Geological Technics has conducted a review of
public files in order to gain a better understanding of the past use of the Property
' The sources of information which were searched include the following:
SOURCE DATA
State of California
Dept of Water Resources Domestic Well Data
1
San Joaquin County
' PHS/EHD Tank and Mitigation Files
Assessor Building Files
OES Business Plan
' Surveyor Aerial Photographs
City of Stockton
Fire Department Tank Permits
Library Sanborn Maps & City
Directory
Cutter Lumber
Photograph & Interview
I
No information was found pertaining to the domestic water well, but valuable
' historical information was found on airmail photos, the County Assessor's Records,
and from Otter Lumber The following summarizes the significant facts gathered to
date of the background review:
' 1. Neither the State or the County has any record pertaining to the domestic water
well except for the sampling which has been conducted by Geological Technics.
' 2. There are notations dated May 11, 1950 and September 29 1969 in the Assessor's
Y P ,
' records that indicate the former existence of a pump island and two 1,000 gallon
tanks One of the tanks was an AST and the other was a UST These tanks are
indicated to be in the vicinity of a 12 x 20 foot building called the "oil supply"
' building. There is a vague suggestion the tanks were installed in 1949 There is
also a notation regarding an unused pump and tank
I
