' Corrective Action Plan Page 12 <br /> Former Manna Pro Site <br /> Project No 207 3 <br /> February 16,2001 <br />' 4.2.1 Soil Vapor Extraction System Start U <br /> P Y P <br />' The vapor extraction system will be started on the first day of system operation An air <br /> sample will be collected from both the influent and effluent sides of the treatment system <br />' to satisfy the Air Pollution Control District permit condition <br /> 4.2.2 Air Sparge System Start Up <br /> The air sparge pump will be started on the second day of system operation An air sample <br /> will be collected from the influent air stream one day after the start of the air sparge <br /> system <br /> 4.3 Remedial System Monitoring <br /> The system will be monitored during the course of the initial operation This will include <br /> making depth to groundwater measurements, air flow and pressure measurements, vapor <br /> readings with a portable ionization detector (PID), and field measurements of oxygen in <br /> the groundwater The system will be monitored on a daily basis for the first three days of <br /> operation After the initial three days of operation, the system will be monitored twice a <br /> week for the first two weeks and weekly thereafter Groundwater measurements will be <br /> made on a daily basis for the first three days and then weekly thereafter for the first month <br /> of operation These measurements will be made monthly thereafter Dissolved oxygen <br /> measurements will be made on a monthly basis after the initial three day startup period <br /> I4.3.1 Process/Efflucnt Air Monitoring <br /> Air samples will be collected at the start up of the system and at various times during the <br /> operation of the system PID readings will be made periodically (weekly) during system <br /> operation at the sample port downstream from the vapor extraction well head An air <br /> sample will also be collected one day after start up of the air sparge system and just prior <br /> to system shut down (The air sample collection procedure is described in Section 5 3 <br /> Air sample analysis is described in Section 5 6) <br /> 4.3.2 Vacuum/Flow/Pressure Monitoring <br /> Vacuum flow and pressure monitoring measurements will be made on a periodic basis <br /> during the operation of the remedial system Air flow measurements will be made during <br /> any flow adjustment to the air sparge or vapor extraction system A Solomat multi- <br /> function meter, anemometer, in line Rotometer or similar instrument will be used to <br /> measure flow Magnahelic gauges will be attached to the air sparge conveyance piping, <br /> 2937 Veneman Ave,#13240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc Phone(209)569-0293 <br /> Modesto,CA 95356 Fax(209)569-0295 <br />
