0 9 <br /> The Nortrax property is located in French Camp, California, as shown on <br /> Figure 1. The site is bounded on the north and east by Pullman Street, on <br /> the southwest by Redhill Avenue, and on the north-west by commercial <br /> properties. The property is located in an area of mixed development. <br /> 1.2 PURPOSE <br /> The objective of the site activities involves the completion of soil borings <br /> with direct push drilling equipment for the collection of soil and ground <br /> water samples. <br /> 1.4 SITE-SPECIFIC TASKS AND ACTIVITIES <br /> The following tasks and activities will be implemented to fulfill the <br /> objectives of the investigation: <br /> • Contact Underground Services Alert to clear the proposed boring <br /> locations of proximity to underground utilities. <br /> • Clear the first 5 feet of each boring (below pavement) with a hand <br /> auger; <br /> • Advance two soil borings with a direct push drill rig to a depth a <br /> maximum depth of twenty feet below ground surface; and <br /> • If ground water is encountered,collect ground water samples from <br /> each boring for laboratory analysis with a HydroPunch© sampling <br /> device. <br /> 5164.00-3/4/03 <br /> ERM <br /> HASP CANON 2 <br />
