<br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD ) has reviewed
<br /> Quarterly Ground Water Monitoring and Remediation Progress Report - First Quarter
<br /> 2009 (QMR) dated May 26, 2009 , submitted by your consultant.
<br /> The QMR covered the ground water sampling event conducted on March 9 , 10 , and 11 ,
<br /> 2009 . Wells MW- 1 , iVJW -2 , IVIW -6 , MW-13, MW15 througgh MW-.17 , MW- 19, MW-20 , !
<br /> MW-22 . MW23 , VW- 1 through VW-5 , VW-8 , VW- 10 throhgh VW-12, MS- 1A through
<br /> MS-3A, and MS-1B through MS�3B were sampled this period for gasoline range
<br /> organics (GRO ) , benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene ( BTEX) , and the fuel
<br /> oxygenates , and 1 , 2-dichloroethane (DCA) .
<br /> Following the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Resolution #2009-0042
<br /> dated May 19 , 2009 to reduce quarterly sampling , the EHD modifies the sampling
<br /> requirements for the site as follows :
<br /> 1 . Wells MW-3 , MW- 11 , MW- 13, MW. 16 , MW 22 and VW-5 are to be sampled and
<br /> analyzed semi-annually for DCA starting in late 2009 .
<br /> 2. Wells MS-3A, VW-3, and VW-11 are to be sampled and analyzed semi-
<br /> annually for GRO starting in late 2009 .
<br /> 3 . MW-6 and VW-7 are to be sampled and analyzed semi-annually for GRO and
<br /> DCA starting in' late 2009 .
<br /> 4 . Wells MW-2, VW-8, VW-10, and VW- 12 are to be sampled and analyzed semi- -i
<br /> annually for GRO , benzene , methyl tertiary-butyl ether ( MtBE) , and tert-butyl
<br /> alcohol (TBA) starting in late 2009 .
<br /> 5 . Wells MW-5 , MW20, MW-23 , VW- 1 , VW-2, VW-4, MS- 1 A, MS- 1 B, MS-2A, MS-
<br /> 2B , and MS-3,B are to sampled and analyzed annually for GRO , benzene , MtBE ,
<br /> and TBA starting in 2010 .
<br /> 6 . Wells MW- 1 , MW4 , MW-7 , MW- 18 , MW- 12, MW- 14 , MW-15 , MW-17, MW- 18 , 3
<br /> MW-19 ; MW21 , VW-6 , and VW-9 are to be sampled and analyzed once every
<br /> two years (biennially) for GRO , BTEX, MtBE , TBA , and DCA starting in 2011 .
