Then, tighten the bolts to 72 inch pounds torque t I i 9 6 13 incrementally in a pattern that exerts even pressure until a seal is obtained. Note: On 42"risers, the fender washers go on top of the flange and standard washers go underneath the flange. Step Three \ Take the plastic lid mounting nut and find the groove in the back(flat side). Next, locate the raised vertical line on the riser(as shown)and use the groove to find the proper location for the lid mounting nut. a a i Step Four Use a 9/64"drill bit to drill pilot holes in the sump using the plastic nut as a drill template. (Be careful to maintain alignment of the nut while drilling.)Note:After drilling the firstho/e,temporarilyputa bolt in place to maintain alignment for the second hole. 0
