Pick up bulk liquid by using a pump or shovel and place in properly labeled waste <br /> container. <br /> c. Apply sorbent materials to pick up remaining liquid after bulk liquid has been picked up. <br /> DO NOT step on spilled material. Pick up wet material with shovel and place in separate <br /> waste container. DO NOT mix with bulk liquid. <br /> d. Clean up spill control equipment and containers. Be sure to return all equipment to its <br /> proper location. Restock any sorbents used to clean up spill. <br /> e. Carefully wash all spilled product from skin and clothing using soap. Change clothes if <br /> necessary to avoid further contact with product. <br /> f. Arrange for disposal of recovered oil and clean-up materials. <br /> 5.4 Reporting <br /> The emergency spill coordinator or designated alternate is responsible for making required <br /> notifications to appropriate local, state, and federal agencies. Multiple agencies may need to be <br /> notified depending on the severity of the incident. If there are any doubts as to whether a release <br /> should be reported, contact the emergency spill coordinator or alternate for clarification. If none <br /> of these personnel is available, or if there is still doubt, REPORT THE SPILL. <br /> Contact'information for agencies that may need to be notified appears in Table 5.
