it <br /> 3- The consultant must employ qualified persons to perform the <br /> work described above, including licensed geologists and other <br /> technical professionals and possess all necessary licenses to <br /> operate within the state of California and the jurisdiction of <br /> San Joaquin County. A list of qualified persons who will perform <br /> the work must accompany any bid submitted. <br /> 4- The consultant must carry out the described work in a timely, <br /> professional, safe and legal manner, and maintain necessary <br /> records and other safe guards to ensure that reported sample <br /> results are accurate. All work must be performed in a manner <br /> acceptable to the DEH. <br /> 5- The consultant must provide at least five references for whams <br /> the consultant has performed similar work within the past three <br /> years. <br /> 6- The consultant must maintain general liability insurance in <br /> the amount of $ 1,000,000. WILLIAM R. STEWART shall not be <br /> responsible for the cost of any associated premiums. Proof of <br /> such insurance shall be furnished to WILLIAM R. STEWART prior to <br /> the start of work. Also, consultant and WILLIAM R. STEWART shall <br /> work out a mutually acceptable contractual agreement before work <br /> begins. <br /> 7- Work shall be performed in a manner which will not require the <br /> cessation of business at the site unless absolutely necessary or <br /> dictated by the DEH. <br /> 8- Consultant shall provide a copy of consultant's standard <br /> services agreement and schedule of charges with any bid <br /> submitted. The schedule of charges shall include (1) hourly <br /> rates for personnel classifications employed by the consultant, <br /> (2) Unit charges for common supplies and equipment used in <br /> corrective action work, and (3) multipliers used when charging <br /> any other direct expenses (e.g. subcontractor) . <br /> 9- Work shall begin within five working days of execution of the <br /> standard services agreement, unless weather or other conditions <br /> demand a delay. The first work plan or report shall be presented <br /> to the DEH within 90 working days thereafter, and if revisions <br /> are necessary, a revised report shall be presented to the DEH <br /> within ten working days following receipt of the comments on the <br /> first report. <br /> 4 <br />
