I do not
anticipate more that one or two nights displacement for any tenant providing we dig and
backfill like a trenching operation an as noted above.
Please let me know of a good time to discuss contaminated soil and water management with you!
I am projecting 300 tons/15 truck loads for disposal and moving 1100 tons to get at the 300 tons.
There is not much room to stockpile stinky dirt or clean dirt on site. I would prefer for tenant
safety, owner, and RP liability to stockpile contaminated soil at one of two locations. First choice
is a stockpile agreement at Forward landfill. Second choice is just east of the site on the former
Heinz property. The proposed location is just across the tracks from the site within the fence
area. At either location the soil would be wrapped in plastic and sampled and characterized for
proper disposal. Both locations will satisfy the concern for Tenant exposure and safety and
li support access to tenants, fire and life safety by avoiding huge piles of dirt on site. These are the
basics for soil management that I would like to discuss with you and then provide any additional
information you may request.
I can squeeze the water storage tank somewhere at the site (car lot in the front or along RR tracks
behind building) but would prefer putting it across the tracks in a fence in yard away from any
possible derailment. a
v ideas that the final conditions for the work will be provided
I suppose after we discuss the above
by EHD. I look forward to working out the details with you.
I am considering starting the work in early December or January with your approval and once we
finalize minor soil and water management issues. Additionally, the work will start after our
contract is finalized with each of the Cox and Cox Partners. I look forward to hearing from you.
I
Thank you, John Lynch
i
I
{ i
I
II
I
F
11/12/2003
