Additionally we would put her up in a local hotel/motel and that we would
do our best to get her cat in the hotel/motel with her. If that did not work we would pay for her
cat going overnight to a kennel. This seemed to address her concerns. If needed I could get her
unit number of the lady from Earl, (she lives in the second unit just west of and beside MW-3.
The second concerned tenant was the auto repair facility to the east and beside MW-3. He was
concerned about access to his shop during excavation work. We indicated that we would phase
the digging. First digging at MW-9 and then towards MW-3 thereby leaving him access from
eastern most entrance of 1 Ith Street into his southern most service bay. We would then work as
required around MW-3 leaving him access from the western most entrance through the trailer park
and to his northern most service bay.. This satisfied his concerns.
Are there any other concerned parties that I am not aware of and need to do anything with and or
for?
All tenants have been advised that if needed (safety and health) they would be put up in local
lodging, provided with meals (perdiem) and other out of pocket expenses. I do not
anticipate more that one or two nights displacement for any tenant providing we dig and
backfill like a trenching operation an as noted above.
Please let me know of a good time to discuss contaminated soil and water management with you!
I am projecting 300 tons/15 truck loads for disposal and moving 1100 tons to get at the 300 tons.
There is not much room to stockpile stinky dirt or clean dirt on site. I would prefer for tenant
safety, owner, and RP liability to stockpile contaminated soil at one of two locations. First choice
is a stockpile agreement at Forward landfill. Second choice is just east of the site on the former
11/12/2003
