In addition, all wells will be field tested for Dissolved Oxygen levels.
• Survey the new monitoring wells to the previous monitoring well elevation to evaluate
groundwater flow direction.
• Perform a well search to determine if other municipal or groundwater wells exist in the
area.
• Disposing of drill cuttings generated during drilling and waste water generated during
developing and sampling. We have assumed that no more than two drums of waste
water and one cubic yard of soil will be generated during the assessment activities and
the soil can be stockpiled and covered and will not have to be containerized in drums.
• Prepare a Site Assessment Report documenting the soil and groundwater conditions and
procedures used during this investigation. This report will conform to San Joaquin
County and California Regional Water Quality Control Board guidelines.
The above scope includes a portion of the work previously approved by SJPHS with the
addition of assessing through soil sampling the former UST area rather than excavating, and
analyzing the groundwater samples for bio parameters.
We recommend this change order request be submitted to the State Water Resources Board,
UST Reimbursement fund for preapproval prior to initiating the work. Please call should
you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Horizon Environmental Inc.
Gary D.Barker
Senior Project Manager
Attachments; Revised Budget
3001.12p 2 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC
