i <br /> F <br /> Airport Metro Industrial Park <br /> As shown in Figure 3-3, the 117-acre Airport Metro Industrial Park area is located at the <br /> 1 southwest corner of the Master Plan area. Approximately 12 acres of this industrial park are <br /> currently developed for general aviation uses and include hangars,maintenance facilities, offices and <br /> other aviation-related uses. The area is currently designated I/L and is proposed for designation as <br /> AP/X. <br /> The Master Plan assumes that,by 2005, 30 additional acres of commercial and industrial uses <br /> would be developed on this property. By 2015, the Master Plan assumes that an additional 36 acres <br /> would be developed, for a total development area of 78 acres. No additional development is <br /> assumed beyond 2015. <br /> �iF Farmington Fresh <br /> The 27-acre Farmington Fresh facility is located on the southeast side of the airport north of <br /> Runway I tL-29R(Figure 3-3). This facility contains a produce packaging operation that receives <br /> and packages fresh produce from farmers throughout the San Joaquin Valley and ships it directly <br /> 1 ' by air from the airport. The area is currently designated as P and is proposed to be designated as <br /> AP/X. <br /> 'P, <br /> The Master Plan assumes that, by 2005, Farmington Fresh would add another 39 acres for <br /> as total of 66 acres of development and 90 employees. The facility is not expected to increase <br /> beyond this level. <br /> Regional Sports Complex <br /> The 72-acre regional sports complex is located on the east side of the airport directly north <br /> of the Farmington Fresh facility. The area is currently designated C/R and is proposed to be <br /> designated as AP/X. The Master Plan assumes that 15 acres of the complex site would be developed <br /> for use as a rental car operations area. <br /> i <br /> Proposed Public Utilities and Services <br /> New development on the airport property will increase demand for services, including <br /> domestic water,sewage treatment,solid waste disposal,drainage,and police and fire protection. The <br /> increased demand from all potential development on the airport site can be adequately <br /> accommodated through existing service agreements with service providers. Under'the terms of <br /> existing agreements, the City of Stockton will provide water and receive and treat wastewater if the <br /> Stockton Metropolitan Airport Project Chapter 3.
