This EIR serves as the public disclosure document to be used during the <br /> County's environmental review process to inform decision makers and the public of the <br /> environmental impacts that would be associated with implementation of the proposed project. <br /> The County will use this EIR during the project approval process to meet the County's <br /> environmental review requirements for the following discretionary approvals: <br /> ■ adoption of the Stockton Metropolitan Airport Master Plan, <br /> ■ adoption of the General Plan amendment, . <br /> Fl ■ adoption of the Development Title amendment, and <br /> ■ adoption of the zone reclassification. <br /> The information contained in this EIR will be used by the City of Stockton and may be used <br /> by LAFCO as environmental documentation that will be required for separate actions related to this <br /> project. If a County Service Area or similar district is formed to facilitate service <br /> provisions for this project, LAFCO approval would be required. <br /> F <br /> NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT COMPLIANCE <br /> ` Proposed near-term improvements identified in the Stockton Metropolitan Airport 5-Year <br /> Development Plan require approval by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
