East of SR 99 to Austin Road, Arch-Airport Road is called Arch Road. <br /> Arch-Airport Road has recently been widened to three lanes (two lanes westbound and one lane <br /> eastbound) between SR 99 and Giannecchini Lane. Arch-Airport Road has also been widened on <br /> the north side(half width widened to provide 48 feet of pavement) from Giannecchini Lane west to <br /> what will be Altalia Street. Arch Road has been widened on the north side along the frontage of the <br /> Arch Road Business Park. Further east, Arch Road has also been widened to provide two eastbound <br /> t lanes along the frontage of the California Department of Corrections' Northern California Women's <br /> Facility. Widening has been completed along this frontage to half of an $4-foot road right-of--way <br /> standard. <br /> According to the City of Stockton's master plans, Sperry and Arch-Airport Road will <br /> ultimately to be widened to eight lanes (four lanes in each direction) and will be extended westward <br /> to connect to I-5, along the alignment of Sperry Road,near the present intersection of I-5 and French <br /> Camp Road. <br /> Airport Way. Airport Way extends from Kasson Road to Harding Way in Stockton. <br /> Airport Way is a four-lane divided roadway to the north of French Camp Road and a two-lane <br /> undivided roadway to the south of that road. The main entrance for the existing Stockton <br /> Metropolitan Airport is currently located on Airport Way. After the proposed Master Plan facilities <br /> are completed, Airport Way will provide access to the west of the site,while Arch-Airport Road and <br /> the SR 99 West Frontage Road will provide access to the north and east,respectively. In the regional <br /> transportation plan prepared by the SJCCOG, Airport Way is ultimately planned as a four-lane <br /> divided roadway from French Camp Road to State Route 120, and as a six-lane divided roadway <br /> r between French Camp Road and Charter Way. <br /> �. State Route 99 West Frontage Road. Within the.study area, the SR 99 West Frontage <br /> Road is a two-lane undivided roadway extending from Arch-Airport Road approximately I mile <br /> south along the eastern boundary of the Stockton Metropolitan Airport Master Plan area. It now <br /> primarily serves the Regional Sports Complex and Farmington Fresh, which are located along the <br /> eastern boundary of the airport property. In the future, the SR 99 West Frontage Road is planned <br /> to be extended to French Camp Road. Interchange improvements at SR 99 and French Camp Road <br /> are also planned. The first phase of the interchange improvements is scheduled for 1997 1998 late <br /> a 1998 or early 1999. These improvements will include extension of existing on-ramps and off-ramps. <br /> Ultimately the SR 99 and Freneh Gamp Road interehange"411 be intproved with a pfftia4 elave <br /> for urban dittmond eonfigtiration.
