April 4, 2012 <br /> institutional controls such as notification to current and future landowners <br /> regarding risks of installing production wells shall be implemented as part <br /> of the local well permitting process. <br /> Current Status: Forward complies with the RWQCB groundwater <br /> monitoring and corrective action requirements and is working with the <br /> RWQB to address groundwater issues stemming from the unlined former <br /> Austin Road Landfill. Bottled water is provided by the City of Stockton to <br /> the residents affected by the groundwater plume. <br /> 7. LATHROP-MANTECA FIRE DISTRICT(Staff Contact: J. R. Monty, 209-858- <br /> 2331) <br /> a. The project must conform with the appropriate edition of the Uniform <br /> Fire Code (currently, the 1997 edition) and all related standards. <br /> b. Fire Department Facility Fees are to be paid on any new structure in <br /> accordance with the San Joaquin County Ordinance and Resolution <br /> adopting the fee schedule ($0.14 per sq. ft.). <br /> c. In order to commence construction beyond the foundation stage or <br /> storage of building materials, requirements for emergency vehicle <br /> access and adequate water for fire suppression shall be provided in <br /> accordance with Sections 901.3, 902.2.1, 903.2, and 8704 of the 1997 <br /> Uniform Fire Code. <br /> d. The fire access road shall meet the San Joaquin County Public Works <br /> Standards. <br /> e. A Knox Box security key box shall be provided. Applications are <br /> available at the fire district offices. <br /> Existing fire protection facilities will be maintained to the satisfaction of the <br /> Lathrop - Manteca Fire Protection District. <br /> Current Status: The Manteca-Lathrop Fire Department routinely inspects the <br /> Forward Landfill, including access roads, for compliance with fire safety <br /> standards.
