April 4, 2012 <br /> At the proposed consolidated landfill, the project sponsor will continue to <br /> provide fire suppression equipment and procedures that are equivalent in <br /> effectiveness to those currently employed at the existing Forward Landfill, <br /> as described in the Site Health and Safety Program. The project sponsor <br /> will furnish information regarding proposed disposal operations and fire <br /> suppression measures at the Austin Road Landfill, and the proposed <br /> consolidated landfill, to the Lathrop -Manteca Fire District. <br /> Existing fire protection facilities will be maintained (see also Mitigation <br /> Measure 9 (E.1)). <br /> Current Status: Forward continues to provide the same fire suppression <br /> equipment and procedures as has historically been used at the former <br /> Forward Landfill and as described in the Site Health and Safety Program. <br /> Forward provides information regarding disposal operations and fire <br /> suppression measures to the Manteca-Lathrop Fire Department.
