April 4, 2012 <br /> At the proposed consolidated landfill, the project sponsor will continue to <br /> provide fire suppression equipment and procedures that are equivalent in <br /> effectiveness to those currently employed at the existing Forward Landfill, <br /> as described in the Site Health and Safety Program. The project sponsor <br /> will furnish information regarding proposed disposal operations and fire <br /> suppression measures at the Austin Road Landfill, and the proposed <br /> consolidated landfill, to the Lathrop -Manteca Fire District. <br /> Existing fire protection facilities will be maintained (see also Mitigation <br /> Measure 9 (E.1)). <br /> Current Status: Forward continues to provide the same fire suppression <br /> equipment and procedures as has historically been used at the former <br /> Forward Landfill and as described in the Site Health and Safety Program. <br /> Forward provides information regarding disposal operations and fire <br /> suppression measures to the Manteca-Lathrop Fire Department. Existing <br /> fire protection facilities have been maintained. <br /> h. 80 (1.3) <br /> Proposed as Part of the Project: <br /> The project sponsor will continue to apply, to the entire consolidated <br /> landfill, the safety procedures currently employed at the existing Forward <br /> Landfill and described in the Workplace Injury and Illness Prevention Plan. <br /> The project sponsor will furnish information regarding proposed disposal <br /> operations and safety procedures at the Austin Road Landfill, and the <br /> proposed consolidated landfill, to the Lathrop -Manteca Fire District. <br /> Current Status: Forward continues to employ the same safety procedures as <br /> have historically been used at the former Forward Landfill and as described <br /> in the Workplace Injury and /illness Prevention Program.
