He indicated that he
and his sister inherited the Site a few years ago. His stepmother lives in the house, and
his cousin farms the Site under the name of K&H Farms. Mr. Robertson stated that the
walnut orchard was planted last year. Prior to that, the Site was used to grow alfalfa
and a variety of other crops; it was an orchard in the past as well. The house on the
Site was built in 2005, he indicated. A domestic well is located behind the house; the
Site has no irrigation well because it gets water from the Banta Carbona Irrigation
District. Mr. Robertson stated that the shop behind the house is not used for farming
equipment, it is used for storage of domestic items. He was not aware of any above-
ground or underground fuel tanks, chemical storage, automotive maintenance activities,
dumping, or other environmental hazards on the Site. Mr. Robertson was also not
aware of any contamination from the surrounding properties affecting the Site or ground
water beneath the Site.
LOGE 1303 Page 3
