!' Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report---------APN: 209—310-30 `
----------Parcel Nos. 1 and 2
3
number 209-310-30 is subject to the Williamson Act contract. Considering the long time
agricultural use of this subject property, the existing farming being conducted on the
other farm properties in the general area surrounding it, and the Williamson Act contract,
there is no apparent evidence that indicates the property has been subjected to either
business or industrial use which would have contributed possible contamination to the
property.
Future Planned Property Use: The planned development of the forty(40) acres is to
divide the subject property into two parcels. Parcel 1 is to contain 2.00 acres. Parcel 2 is
to contain 38.00 acres, all as shown on the"Parcel Map". Belle B. Soares is ninety-four
(94)years old and this lot split will allow her to remain living on the subject property and
for other family members to continuing to farm the land surrounding her home. The
possibility of a future sale of the property appears unlikely in view of the Williamson Act
contract.
F Site Description and Property Search: On Monday,April 19, 2002, a property search
was made to determine if there were above ground fuel storage tanks, oil drums,
kerosene, other petroleum products and/or other possible contaminant receptacles situate
on any of the three parcels totaling one hundred twenty-eight(128)acres that could
contribute to contamination.
The conditions seen and noted are best described and recorded by the colored
photographs I took and these pictures are identified by numbers contained in Appendix 1
which is attached to and made an integral part of this report. A description of what is
being viewed in the numbered photographs, as well as the direction of viewing, is
detailed as follows: in the Appendix 1 are listed as follows:
f
UA& 1B)Property owner's residence viewed from the south side of West Bethany
Road.
t
(IC, ID, & 2A)Property owner's east, north and west back yards respectively.
2B( & 2D)View from residence front yard looking easterly at a semi-circular galvanized
metal shop building and a pump-house immediately to the north of the shop building.
2C( &3A): Looking westerly at the semicircular galvanized shop building from a flat,
graveled parking area east of the shop.
