k
June 13, 2006
NOA Project Number: E06063A
This map is included in Appendix C of this report.
2.4 Interviews
T An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property
[ from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and
Disclosure Statement was completed by Mr.Paul Bowman, partner of Cochran Properties,on May 19,.
2006. A copy of his responses has been included in this report as Appendix E.
' In his responses to the questionnaire, Mr. Bowman indicated that Cochran Properties purchased the
property in 1949. To the best of his knowledge, the property has always been used for row crops.
Mr. Bowman stated that approximately 25 years ago a 40 acre parcel was split from this parcel. The
address associated with that 40 acre parcel is 25000 Bird Road; this address was used for the subject
Fiproperty searches.
3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION
3.1 Research Methods
NOA employs a standard practice far review of database information. On a street map showing the
_ location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries,
and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets
within the quarter mile. All agency databases searchable by address are then searched for these address
ranges.
3.1.1 Regional Water Quality Control Board
NOA reviewed the Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST`) list (April 2006), the Dater Purveyors
Quarterly Report on MTBE (April 2006), and the Spills, Leaks, Investigations, and Cleanups (SLIC) list (1"
Quarter 2005) on file with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB)5 in
an attempt to determine if there are any files present at that agency which note the unauthorized release
of a toxic or hazardous agent into the environment on the subject property or within a one-quarter mile
radius of the subject property. The subject property was not listed on any of these databases, and no
addresses within one-quarter mile of the subject property were found on the databases.
4Personal Communication May 18,2006.
5California Regional Water Quality Control Board,Sacramento,www.swtcb.ca.gov.
4
