} <br /> i <br /> (7) All required plans and building permit applications shall be submitted within 60 <br /> days of the application's effective date, and all Code related improvements shall <br /> be completed within six months of the application's effective date. <br /> { 5. FRENCH CAMP FIRE DISTRICT: <br /> a. The structure shall be brought into compliance with all current code provisions of the <br /> Uniform Fire Code, the National Fire Protection Association (Title 24), and the Uniform <br /> Building Code. <br /> b. A Fire Permit is required for a place of assembly (UFC Article 25, Section 101, Place of <br /> Assembly, Division 1). <br /> C. The following requirements shall be met to provide an exit system that meets the <br /> requirements for an A-2.1 occupancy: <br /> (1) All exits shall be clearly marked with an approved exit sign. If the exit way is not <br /> easily identified, then an additional exit sign shall be used (UFC Article 12, <br /> Division 1). <br /> (2) All exit doors shall be maintained in an operable condition and equipped with <br /> Panic Hardware that shall release when subjected to a 15-pound force and open <br /> the door with no more than a 30-pound force. Doors shall not have a locking <br /> device that needs to be unlocked from the inside with the use of a key or any <br /> special knowledge or effort. Exit doors shall not be locked, chained, bolted, <br /> a barred, latched, or otherwise rendered unusable. All locking devices shall be of <br /> an approved type. <br /> (3) The exit door that leads from the river room on the south side of the building to <br /> the outside shall have an outside lock of the type approved for Panic Hardware. <br /> If this door is to be used only for a fire exit, then it shall be labeled as such. <br /> (4) Fire exits shall not be obstructed in any manner and shall remain free of any <br /> material or matter that would render the exit hazardous. <br /> (5) Tables and chairs shall be arranged to provide for clear exit pathways (91 UFC <br /> 12.104, 25.106, and 25.107). <br /> (6) All decorations, including carpeting and drapes, used in the building shall be <br /> certified as 'Fire Retarded' (91 UFC 25.103). <br /> (7) Open flames, including candles and food warming devices, shall not be allowed <br /> without an approved fire permit (91 UFC 25.115 and 25.116). <br /> (8) The occupant load established for each room shall not be exceeded (91 UFC <br /> 25.114). <br /> (9) Fire watch personnel, as approved by the Chief, shall be on duty in uniform and <br /> maintain radio contact with the department at all functions until, in the opinion of <br /> the Chief, all Fire Code requirements have been met. <br /> Conditions of Approval - 5 .
