The building shall be provided with an <br /> automatic fire sprinkler system. <br /> (4) Provide an exit system that meets the requirements for an A-2.1 occupancy. <br /> (5) Provide a commercial hood in the kitchen that complies with all Uniform <br /> Mechanical and Fire Codes. <br /> (6) Exterior walls less than 10 feet from a property line shall be constructed of two- <br /> hour fire resistive material. Openings are required to be protected less than 10 <br /> feet and not permitted less than 5 feet from a property line (UBC Table 5A). <br /> (7) All required plans and building permit applications shall be submitted within 60 <br /> days of the application's effective date, and ail Code related improvements shall <br /> be completed within six months of the application's effective date. <br /> 5. FRENCH CAMP FIRE DISTRICT: <br /> a. The structure shall be brought into compliance with all current code provisions of the <br /> Uniform Fire Code, the National Fire Protection Association (title 24), and the Uniform <br /> Building Code. <br /> b. A Fire Permit is required for a place of assembly (UFC Article 25, Section 101, Place of <br /> Assembly, Division 1). <br /> C. The following requirements shall be met to provide an exit system that meets the <br /> requirements for an A-2.1 occupancy: <br /> (1) All exits shall be clearly marked with an approved exit sign. If the exit way is not <br /> easily identified, then an additional exit sign shall be used (UFC Article 12, <br /> Division 1). <br /> (2) All exit doors shall be maintained in an operable condition and equipped with <br /> Panic Hardware that shall release when subjected to a 15-pound force and open <br /> the door with no more than a 30-pound force. Doors shall not have a locking . <br /> device that needs to be unlocked from the inside with the use of a key or any <br /> special knowledge or effort. Exit doors shall not be locked, chained, bolted, <br /> barred, latched, or otherwise rendered unusable. All locking devices shall be of <br /> an approved type. <br /> (3) The exit door.that leads from the river room on the south side of the building to <br /> the outside shall have an outside lock of the type approved for Panic Hardware. <br /> If this door is to be used only for a fire exit, then it shall be labeled as such. , ; <br />
