An approved fire suppression system, consisting of a commercial hood and duct, shall <br /> be provided in the kitchen (Uniform Fire Code Article 10, Section 10.513, N.F.P.A. <br /> Standard 17, Dry Chemical Extinguishing Systems,and Uniform Mechanical Code). A fire <br /> permit shall be required for the hood and duct fire extinguishing system (UFC Article 10). <br /> e. The existing structure exceeds the allowable floor area permitted by the Uniform Fire <br /> k Code and Uniform Building Cade for an A-2.1 occupancy. This building shall be provided <br /> with an approved automatic sprinkler system with an approved water system that will. <br /> supply the approved fire flow required by 91 UFC Appendix ill-A. The automatic sprinkler <br /> system shall also meet all the requirements of 91 UFC Article 10, Division 4, Section <br /> 10.401; 91 _UFC Article 10, Division 5, Section 10.506; 91 UBC; and N.F.P.A. Standards <br /> 13, 14, 22; and 24. <br /> f. All fire extinguishers shall comply with 91 UFC Article 10, Division 5, Section 10.505, and <br /> N.F.P.A. 10. <br />
