UP-92-31 <br /> Page 12 <br /> (4)" Fire exits shall not be obstructed in any manner and shall remain free of any <br />! material or matter that would render the exit hazardous. <br /> (5) Tables and chairs shall be arranged to provide for clear exit pathways (91 UFC <br /> 12.104, 25.106, and 25.107). <br /> (6) 'No Smoking' signs shall be posted,�and no smoking shall be allowed in the <br /> (7) All decorations, including carpeting and drapes, used in the building shall be <br /> I <br /> certified as"Fire Retarded' (91 UFC 25.103). <br /> (8) Open flames, including candles and food warming devices, shall not be allowed <br /> without an approved fire permit (91 UFC 2.5.115 and 25.116). <br /> (9) The occupant load established for each room shall not be exceeded (91 UFC <br /> 25.114). <br /> (10) Fire watch personnel, as approved by the Chief, shall be on duty in uniform and <br /> maintain radio contact with the department at all functions until, in the opinion of <br /> ` the Chief, all Fire Code requirements have been met. <br /> (11) Fire department emergency access roads shall be maintained and shall be no <br /> smaller than 20 feet wide and have a clearance no less than 15 feet, 6 inches, in <br /> height. The access road shall be posted with a "No Parking Fire Lane" sign. <br /> (12) All ramps used as exits shall be maintained in accordance with the Uniform <br /> Building Code. <br /> k d. An approved fire suppression system, consisting of a commercial hood and duct, shall <br /> be provided in the kitchen (Uniform Fire Code Article 10, Section 10.513, N.F.P.A. <br /> Standard 17, Dry Chemical Extinguishing Systems,and Uniform Mechanical Code). A fire <br /> permit shall be required for the hood and duct fire extinguishing system (UFC Article 10). <br /> e. The existing structure exceeds the allowable floor area permitted by the Uniform Fire <br /> k Code and Uniform Building Cade for an A-2.1 occupancy. This building shall be provided <br /> with an approved automatic sprinkler system with an approved water system that will. <br /> supply the approved fire flow required by 91 UFC Appendix ill-A. The automatic sprinkler <br /> system shall also meet all the requirements of 91 UFC Article 10, Division 4, Section <br /> 10.401; 91 _UFC Article 10, Division 5, Section 10.506; 91 UBC; and N.F.P.A. Standards <br /> 13, 14, 22; and 24. <br /> f. All fire extinguishers shall comply with 91 UFC Article 10, Division 5, Section 10.505, and <br /> N.F.P.A. 10. <br />
