At a minimum, the storm water management <br /> controls shall include: 1) Designation of Pollution Prevention Personnel and definition of <br /> their responsibilities; 2) Preventive Maintenance; 3) Good Housekeeping; 4) Spill Response <br /> Procedures; 5) Employee Training; and 6) Storm Water Management. <br /> 5.1 Pollution Prevention Personnel <br /> The Facility Operations Manager, or specified designee(s) shall be in responsible charge of <br /> _ pollution prevention activities set forth in this Storm Water Management Plan. Designees <br /> may include managers of Facility Engineering, Environmental Operations, or Health and <br /> Safety, Crew Foremen, and/or other employees in responsible charge of facility personnel <br /> or operations. A current list of designated Pollution Prevention Personnel, including titles, <br /> names, and emergency telephone numbers, is attached as Appendix A. <br /> Specific responsibilities of Pollution Prevention Personnel shall include the following: <br /> Review implementation and effectiveness of Storm <br /> (title) Water Management Plan, revising Plan as needed. <br /> Review facility operations to assure compliance with <br /> (title) the Storm Water Management Plan. <br /> Inspect/repair/construct storm water runoff control <br /> (title) facilities, as necessary, to maintain compliance with <br /> Storm Water Management Plan. <br /> 5.2 Preventive Maintenance <br /> Preventive maintenance shall serve to reduce the potential for spills due to equipment <br /> malfunctions and accidental releases of storm water runoff through damaged runoff <br /> containment facilities. <br /> The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, or a designee, shall establish an appropriate <br /> Preventive Maintenance Schedule that includes evaluation of facilities and equipment which <br /> would be potential pollutant sources in the event of malfunction. Such potential sources <br /> include chemical, lubricant and fuel storage facilities, pumps, pipes, hoses, holding tanks and <br /> oil/sand separator units. As other vulnerable areas are identified, Facilities Maintenance <br /> shall establish appropriate scopes and schedules of inspection for them. <br /> Pollution Prevention Personnel will perform inspections of storm water runoff control <br /> facilities on a monthly basis from October through May.
