r <br /> _ A Schedule of Inspections is included as Appendix B. Inspection forms, to be completed <br /> as part of each inspection, are provided in Appendix C. <br /> 53 Housekeeping <br /> All areas of the facility, particularly with respect to the vehicle maintenance shop, shall be <br /> maintained in clean and orderly condition to minimize the potential for degradation of storm <br /> water runoff. <br /> Equipment and supplies should be periodically stripped of oil and grease buildup, <br /> particularly prior to being stored in the boneyard. Empty fuel and lubricant drums and <br /> - containers should not be stored in the boneyard area. <br /> 5.4 Spill Response Procedure <br /> Spill Response Procedures are outlined under the Emergency Response section in the KRC <br /> Aggregate, Inc. Facilities Business Plan (incorporated herein by reference). A copy of the <br /> Facilities Business Plan is on file at the offices of KRC Aggregate, Inc. <br /> Spills would likely be limited to the Vehicle Maintenance Shop area, where lubricants and <br /> hydraulic oils are stored and used. An inventory of chemicals stored at the facility is <br /> attached as Appendix D. <br /> 5.5 Employee Training <br /> All employees with responsibility for selection of mining locations, facility and vehicle <br /> maintenance, materials storage and general operations must be given training in the follow <br /> topics: <br /> a) Purpose and contents of this Storm Water Management Plan; <br /> b) General and site-specific "good housekeeping" and Best Management <br /> Practices; and, <br /> c) Storm Water Management Principles, including: <br /> • Location of collection and diversion facilities; <br /> • Rules and regulations governing discharge permitting; and, <br /> • Requirements for non-obligation status. <br /> Initial training as outlined above shall be conducted for facility supervisors by the Facilities <br /> Maintenance Supervisor no later than October 1, 1993. Supervisors shall train all employees <br /> in their departments not later than October 22, 1993.
