Trauung Documentation forms are included in Appendix E. h 5.6 Storm Water Management Practices h This section addresses the practices that will be used to manage storm water which may be affected by contamination sources. ` 5.6.1ua Q i'rY • Storm water holding ponds will retain storm water adjacent to active portions of the quarry thus preventing flow into previously reclaimed areas, pristine + areas and/or surface water features. First cuts associated with excavation of previously urmined areas will be made such that all affected land will drain back to the active quarry. Such situations may warrant formation of a perimeter trough around grubbed areas. Advancement of the quarry highwall will result in drainage back to the active • Appropriate pumps and personnel will be made available to prevent overflow of storm runoff from the quarry into drainage courses during exceptionally large storm events. 5.6.2 Plant i Crushing, washing, and sorting equipment, as well as stockpiles, are located within a:bowl- shaped depression with surface drainage toward the center of the bowl.
