Traffic flows along Hammer Lane and East Frontage
Road are operating at LOS 11C" or better.
Existing intersection LOS during the AM and PN peak hours are
relatively free-flowing except for street delays at two locations.
At the 'Test Frontage/Hammer intersection very long delays are
4_ experienced by the northbound left-turn movement from West
Frontage Road onto Hammer Lane. At the intersection of East
Frontage/SR 99 NB ramps, long delays are experienced by the
eastbound left-turn movement from the off-ramp onto East Frontage
Road .
I
All remaining study intersections are functioning at LOS 11C1'
or better during both the AM and PM peak hours. f
i
a. Signal Warrants
IF
The intersections of West Frontage/Hammer and West
Frontage/SR 99 SB ramps have been checked for signal warrant
satisfaction. Minimum peak hour volumes required for
signalization are exceeded at the West Frontage/Hammer
intersection during the PH peak hour. 4 The intersection would
require further analysis to determine potential phasing and
traffic accident studies.
3. Environmental Impacts
The proposed residential project would consist of a total of
39 single-family dwelling units ( 3 existing, 36 additional ) .
Vehicle trip generation rates for the development have been
derived from the Institute of Transportation Engineers ( ITE) Trip
research. The project ' s daily AM and PM peak hour trips have been
generated and are shown in Table 3.
33
