In order to construct a sign for the <br /> church at this location, the parcel will have to be merged with the adjacent parcel where the <br /> church currently resides. Otherwise, the new sign would be considered "off-premises"sign which <br /> is not permitted in the C-N zone. Development Title Section 9-1710.4 (d)states that one <br /> freestanding sign per parcel shall be permitted for each street frontage on the parcel and that <br /> freestanding signs shall not be placed closer than fifty(5) feet from any other freestanding sign. <br /> There is an existing pole sign on the restaurant parcel advertising the restaurant. Development <br /> Title Section 9-1710.40} states that the requirements of[the Chapter) may be modified by the <br /> Review authority in cases in which, due to the unusual nature of the development proposal, the <br /> requirements set forth may be considered insufficient or excessive. This modification may be <br /> reviewed under the same Site Approval proposed for the expansion to the church.
