The well pump was replaced with a <br /> new three-horsepower unit in September 1992. <br /> 8.3.6 Potable Water-supply Well at Carmelo Business Park <br /> This 8-in. diameter, 520 ft. deep well was installed in July 2000, in a boring that reached <br /> a total depth of 550 ft, to supply potable water to the whole of the Carmelo Business <br /> . .3 Park, which extends to the north and south of Carmelo Avenue. A copy of the well log is <br /> -� included in Appendix D. It is located in open ground to the north of Aubin Industries at <br /> ` 23833 Chrisman Road. It was drilled to replace an earlier well located just to the east of <br /> 7567 Carmelo Avenue, which well is now used solely to supply irrigation water. (See <br /> =a, Figure 2 for locations.) <br /> This well has a bentonite seal that extends from the ground surface to a depth of 200 ft. <br /> The casing is perforated between 480 ft. and 520 ft. BGS and the filter pack in the <br /> annular space between the casing and the borehole wall extends from 200 ft.
