However, the Major
Subdivision cannot be approved until after the General Plan Map
Amendment and Zone Reclassification become effective. Since the
effective date of those applications would be 30 days after the
Board of Supervisors takes action, a waiver of the 50-day time
limit for acting on tentative maps is necessary. A request for
the waiver must be submitted with the Major Subdivision
Application. If the applicant chooses, he may process the Major
Subdivision separately, at a later date, and avoid the need for a
time waiver.
NOTE: The pre-application conference is designed to inform
prospective applicants of the general plan cons, stency,
zoning consistency, public improvement
requirements,preliminary design constraints and
opportunities, and major environmental and safety
issues. This information is provided in the hope of
assisting the applicant in submitting a better and more
complete application, as well as minimizing processing
time. It is not intended to be an in-depth analysis,
and, and environmental assessment is not completed.
The applicant should be aware that a detailed review
will not be done until the full application is
submitted. Also, if new or additional information is
obtained, a revised application or environmental impact
report may be required.
c: J. Wilson
C.
