All pens will be located on an elevated pad.
• Manure will be removed from the pens and from within the chicken
coupes at least twice per week and stored in a freestanding enclosed
10'x10' structure located within the chicken pen.
• Manure will be removed from the site and transported to an approved
disposal facility at least once per week. CVRWQCB will regulate runoff.
• 22' elevated pad will include a 4,000 sq. ft. general purpose ag barn/shop
and septic system. Within that area will be a segmented 1,600 sq. ft. area
to for meat processing (slaughter/butcher). The meat processing area will
be regularly pressure washed and kept clean. Will ultimately include
Hussein family home and caretakers' quarters.
• All egg and meat processing activities will be regulated by California
Department of Food and Agriculture ("CDFA"). This determination is supported by substantial evidence in the
record before the Commission.
{00177524.}
