The following is a <br /> summary of our review of the aerial photographs: <br /> Year(s) Aerial Photo Summary <br /> 1957, 1967, The property appears to be utilized agriculturally for the cultivation of row crops <br /> 1971, 1982, (tilled land). No structures are visible on or immediately adjacent to the property. <br /> 1993, 1998, Sloughs/waterways are visible running northwest and southeast of the property. <br /> 2003 Surrounding use appears to be largely agricultural. <br /> 2004 The existing property single-family residence appears to be under construction, <br /> with remaining property appearing to be utilized agriculturally for the cultivation <br /> of row crops (tilled land). <br /> 2005, 2006, The property contains the existing single-family residence on the easternmost <br /> 2008, 2009, corner of the parcel, with the remaining property utilized agriculturally for the <br /> 2010, 2011, cultivation of row crops (tilled land). Surrounding use is also agricultural with a <br /> 2012 homestead visible on the parcel to the immediate north. By 2008,the recreational <br /> structure is also visible on the property. <br /> In summary, review of historical aerial photographs revealed no obvious features, such as <br /> tank farms or gasoline service stations, on the subject property or adjacent properties that <br /> are of significant environmental concern. <br /> 4.3. USGS TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS <br /> AGE reviewed historical topographic maps of the subject property and surrounding area <br /> that were supplied by EDR for the years 1915, 1922, 1947, 1952, 1969, 1980 and 1991. <br /> The following is a summary of our review of the topographic maps: <br /> Year(s) Historical Topographic Map Summary <br /> 1915, 1922, The subject property is located in a rural area with no large population centers <br /> 1947, 1952 visible, west of a sparsely populated 'San Joaquin City.' No structures are <br /> shown on the property and no property use details are shown. The property is <br /> west of the San Joaquin River, and two tributaries are located north and south <br /> of the property. By 1952, landing strips are visible to the distant northwest. <br /> 1969, 1980, The property is similar to the previous maps. The surrounding area is also <br /> 1991 similar with further development northeast of the site, and the presence of the <br /> Vernalis Gas Field' including several visible gas wells to the northwest, west, <br /> and southwest.
