Should the number of non-resident individuals exceed 24 for at least 60 <br /> days per year, or the number of service connections exceed four, a yearly permit to operate a <br /> public water system will be required by the Environmental Health Division (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title 22, Section 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9.). <br /> 1. Install an approved backflow prevention device on the water supply system(s), California <br /> Code of Regulation, Title 17, Section 7603_ <br /> NOTE: The water supply to the dairy barn must be protected from all outside sources by use of <br /> reduced pressure backflow devices. All water hose bibs must have backflow devices, <br /> and R/Ps are required at all chemical injection sites. <br /> J. Submit three (3) sets of building plans for review to the Environmental Health Division. <br /> Plans shall include the design of the entire dairy facility (milking barn, corrals, free stall <br /> housing, shelter sheds, dry cow facilities, calf barns, and waste water ponds); California Food <br /> and Agricultural Code, Division 15, Chapter 5,Article 2, Section 33481-33487. A $156.00 <br /> pian check is required at the time of submittal. <br /> (ORD/EHD) f <br /> NOTE: Grade A permits require a$390.00 application fee at time of submittal. <br /> K. All liquid and solid dairy wastes from this operation are to be retained on the premises so as <br /> not to cause a nuisance or a heath problem(Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, <br /> Chapter 4, Article 4, Section 13260-13263). <br /> 4RD/EHD <br /> o � <br />
