• In the 1998 photo, the current boundaries of the Site appear to be established.
Two or more structures can be seen in their current locations on the south side of
the Site, surrounded by a wooded area. A small pond lies to the west of the
residential area. A line of trees defines the western property boundary. The
orchard has been removed from the Site, which now appears to be irrigated
pasture. Orchards have also been removed from many of the surrounding
properties. The adjacent property to the west is now a nursery.
In the 2004 photo, a swimming pool can be seen on the Site.
In the 2010 and 2016 photos, no significant changes are apparent.
These photos are included as Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
Live Oak inspected the site on August 4, 2017. Photographs of the Site are
attached to this report as Appendix 2. The perimeter of the Site was inspected,
as well as the vicinity of the structures. It was not always possible to inspect the
ground surface due to the presence of objects and vegetation.
• The Site is open agricultural land with a house, garage, and barn. The area
around the structures is heavily wooded. A pool is located to the west of the
house. Southwest of the structures is an irrigation return pond, which was dry at
the time of the site visit.
The domestic well was noted to the south of the garage, and the irrigation well
was located northeast of the barn. West of the irrigation well was another pump;
Mr. Roget indicated that this is part of an irrigation water return system.
A metal cargo container was observed northeast of the barn; Mr. Roget indicated
that he uses it for storage. East of the cargo container were large soil piles. Mr.
Roget stated that these were created when the field was leveled.
Southwest of the garage was an old camper. Mr. Roget indicated that it was
never connected to a septic system and that it was placed in the approximate
location of the former house on the Site.
Several vehicles are parked at various locations across the Site. A car and
tractor are parked to the east of the barn. A van is parked to the north of the
pond, and a car and truck are packed north of the pool. Mr. Roget indicated that
he is planning to sell or repair all of these vehicles.
•
LOGE 1720 3
