According to Dom Martorella, no records or complaints
are on file (correspondence, August 15, 2017).
Well & Septic Permits
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
well and septic permit files for the Site addresses. One permit, dated April 1988,
was identified. The permit was for a new septic system installation to serve a
mobile home. The system included a 1,600-gallon septic tank, two 85-foot leach
lines, and two 36-inch diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pits. Two wells are
also depicted on the permit, which has been included in Appendix 4 of this
report.
• 7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated
sites through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The
SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground storage tank (UST) sites,
leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land
disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the
Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list.
DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response
sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and
permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on July 25, 2017 for any listed sites within
one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database,
and no facilities were identified within one-quarter mile.
•
LOGE 1720 5
